Wendy Mae Chambers, born on January 24, 1953, in New Jersey, USA, is an American composer renowned for her large-scale events. She studied music at Barnard College, part of Columbia University in New York, and honed her piano skills under Kenneth Cooper. Chambers completed her master's degree in composition at the State University of New York at Stony Brook in 1977.
