Wendy Waldman is an American singer-songwriter and musician, born on November 29, 1950, in Los Angeles, California, as Wendy Steiner. In 1973, two of her songs were featured on an album, and since then, more than 150 songs written or co-written by Wendy have been recorded by various artists. Her notable works include the Grammy award-winning "Save The Best For Last," as well as "The Sweetest Days," "Fishin' In The Dark," and "Home Again In My Heart." Over 70 artists across diverse genres such as pop, R&B, jazz, country, film, Latin, and cowboy music have recorded her songs. Some of her biggest hits include "Baby What About You," "I Owe You One," "Heartbeat," and "I'm Gone." Most recently, "Fishin' In The Dark" was released on a new box set. Wendy's songs have been recorded by numerous artists throughout her career.
