Whirr is an American shoegaze band hailing from Modesto, California. Formed in 2010, the group was initially known as "Whirl" until they faced legal threats from another musician with the same name. Whirr's sound draws comparisons to iconic bands such as My Bloody Valentine and Slowdive.
