White Fang is an experimental rock band that originated in Portland, Oregon, in October 2005 while its founding members were attending David Douglas High School. Known for their numerous lineup and genre changes, the band has toured extensively across the US, Europe, Australia, and Canada. They have released a variety of albums and EPs through their own label, Gnar Tapes, as well as other DIY labels like Burger Records and Marriage Records. White Fang is particularly recognized for their prolific cassette output, releasing multiple projects each year for over a decade. In January 2014, the band relocated to Los Angeles, where they continue to operate Gnar Tapes. The members are also active as solo artists, and in July 2018, they were featured in a Comedy Central digital-only special titled 'Gnarnia,' which was set in the Gnar Tapes record store in Cypress Park, Los Angeles. The store has since closed and moved to Discogs.
