Wicked Lady was a Hard Rock and early Heavy Metal trio from Northamptonshire, England, active from 1968 to 1972. The band achieved some success as a live act in their local area, but very few photos of their performances exist, and recordings from their time together only emerged long after the group disbanded. Their name was inspired by a unique pub drink available at the time, and their music featured long, heavy guitar and bass jams. It is important to note that they are not to be confused with another group called Wicked Lady, an all-girl Hard Rock quartet formed in 1974 that performed primarily in Europe and the UK until around 1981.
