Wilhelm Friedemann Bach (November 22, 1710 – July 1, 1784) was a German composer and musician, known as the eldest son of Johann Sebastian Bach. Despite his musical talent, he was considerably less influential than his younger brother, Carl Philipp Emanuel Bach, due to his troubled personality and erratic career.
