Will I Am, born William Adams on March 15, 1975, in The Eastside, Los Angeles, California, is an American rapper, songwriter, musician, producer, DJ, entrepreneur, actor, and TV personality. He gained prominence in the late 1990s as a member of the hip hop group The Black Eyed Peas. Will.i.am has released four solo albums, starting with "Lost Change" in 2001, which served as the original soundtrack to the movie of the same name. Although a music video was made for the song "I Am," no singles were released from this album. His second solo album, "Must B 21," came out in 2003, featuring the track "Go!" which was frequently used as the theme for NBA Live 2005 and Madden NFL 2005. Like his first album, no singles were released from "Must B 21." His third album, "Songs About Girls," was released in 2007 and included the club hit "I Got It From My Mama," which peaked at #31 on the Billboard Hot 100. The album also featured singles "Heartbreaker" and "One More Chance." In addition to his solo work, Will.i.am is a music producer who has collaborated with various major label artists. He has also served as a coach on the British TV talent show "The Voice" UK.
