William Duckworth was a composer, performer, author, and teacher born in North Carolina in 1943. He passed away on September 13, 2012. Duckworth studied at the University of Illinois and taught at Bucknell University from 1973 to 2011. Among his notable works is the book "Talking Music," which features conversations with prominent figures such as John Cage, Philip Glass, and Laurie Anderson.
