William Onyeabor (29 March 1946 - 16 January 2017) was a Nigerian funk singer and songwriter. He studied cinematography in Russia for several years before returning to Nigeria in the mid-1970s, where he established his own music label and a music and film production studio. During the 1970s, he recorded several hit songs in Nigeria, with his most notable track being "Atomic Bomb," released in 1978.
