Willie Dixon was an American blues bassist, vocalist, songwriter, arranger, and record producer, born on July 1, 1915, in Vicksburg, Mississippi, USA. He passed away on January 29, 1992, in Burbank, California, USA. Dixon was inducted into The Blues Foundation Hall of Fame in 1980, the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1994 as an Early Influence, and the Songwriters Hall of Fame in 2015. He is often miscredited for writing "Big Boss Man," as he played bass on the recording. He was married, though the details of his spouse are not provided.
