Willie Tee, born Wilson Turbinton on February 6, 1944, in New Orleans, Louisiana, was an influential American keyboardist, songwriter, singer, and producer. He played a significant role in shaping the early sounds of New Orleans funk and soul. Willie Tee was also the brother of a saxophonist and horns player. He passed away on September 11, 2007, in New Orleans, Louisiana, due to colon cancer.
