Wilson Williams was a soul artist born on June 2, 1945, in Norfolk, Virginia. He began his recording career in the 1970s with How Big Records in Norfolk. Notably, he recorded the last album featuring the Funk Brothers of Motown and the final album at Sound Suite in Detroit. In 1994, Williams became a member of The Platters. He passed away on September 23, 2019.
