Winston Wright was a Jamaican pianist and keyboard player born on September 5, 1943, in May Pen, Jamaica. He began recording in the mid-1960s, contributing to numerous rocksteady tracks for various producers. His career gained significant momentum after the success of "Liquidator" in 1969. In the early 1970s, he worked with notable artists and became a member of a touring band in 1975. Winston Wright passed away on March 18, 1993, in Kingston, Jamaica.
