Wolfgang Käfer was a German pianist, composer, and arranger born in 1939 in Český Krumlov, German-occupied Sudetenland. He passed away in 2022 in Hillerød, Denmark. Despite living in Czechoslovakia, Käfer worked as a dance band leader in West Germany, Austria, and Denmark. He eventually chose to settle in Denmark, where he became a record arranger and library music composer. Throughout his career, he had numerous compositions published and conducted Denmark's Eurovision entry in 1985, also contributing as an arranger for several other entries in the contest.
