Wonderland is a beat and rock group founded in 1968 in Hamburg, Germany, by a number of musicians from various bands. They achieved several hit singles in Germany and became known for their increasingly eccentric and inventive style. With the rise of Krautrock and the psychedelic underground, Wonderland transformed into Wonderland Band, during which time they recorded the experimental prog album No. 1, leading to further projects.
