Writing On the Wall was a progressive rock band formed in Edinburgh, Scotland, in 1967. Originally named The Jury, they changed their name to Writing on the Wall in early 1968. The band's manager relocated the group to London, where they performed at his club. That same year, the band recorded a BBC radio session for a disc jockey and created a live demo album. The group was active until 1973.
