Wu Wei, born in 1970 in Jiangsu Province, China, is a Chinese sheng player based in Berlin. He studied the sheng, a traditional mouth-organ, at the Shanghai Music Conservatory and has served as a soloist with the Shanghai Symphony Orchestra since moving to Berlin in 1995.
