Wynn Stewart was an American country singer and songwriter, born on June 7, 1934, in Morrisville, Missouri. He was the brother of another individual (name not specified) and was known as one of the progenitors of the Bakersfield Sound. Stewart passed away from a heart attack on July 17, 1985, at the age of 51, while at his home in Hendersonville, Tennessee.
