Xao Seffcheque und der Rest is a new wave band from Düsseldorf, formed in the early 1980s by an Austrian-born musician. Initially named "Xao Seffcheque + Die Post," the band changed its name to "Xao Seffcheque + Die Pest" in late 1980, and finally to "Xao Seffcheque + Der Rest" in 1981. The band split up in 1981 when Xao Seffcheque first joined.
