Yagya, whose real name is Aðalsteinn Guðmundsson, is an Icelandic producer known for creating atmospheric music since the 1990s. A key member of the Thule Musik collective, he is recognized for his unique soundscapes and is also known for his collaborative work. Yagya, a computer science student at the University of Iceland, dedicates his free time to music production, focusing on the beauty of the world around him. Drawing inspiration from artists such as Gas, Philip Glass, Basic Channel, and Brian Eno, he emphasizes the softer side of music and avoids heavy rhythms. Yagya seeks to capture harmony and beauty in the simple sounds of nature, aiming for his music to flow naturally through the listener.
