Yasunobu Matsuura was a Japanese tenor saxophonist active during the 1960s and 1970s. He recorded over 400 leader albums with various record companies throughout his career. Matsuura is best known for his performance of Yujiro Ishihara's song "夜霧よ今夜も有難う" (Thank You for the Night Fog). He passed away in September 2015. His daughter is a Japanese female singer-songwriter and arranger, primarily known for writing songs for idol singers and anime.
