Yatha Sidhra is an experimental progressive/cosmic-fusion band from Germany, formed by the Fichter brothers in Freiburg. The band has its roots in the 1960s rock and soul combo Lea Gamble, and later evolved from the band Brontosaurus. They were signed by Achim Reichel to his Gorilla Music label, which led to the release of their iconic LP "A Meditation Mass" on Brain, a record widely regarded as a significant contribution to the cross-genre Krautrock movement. After disbanding, the Fichter brothers continued to work as a duo and were also involved in a reformation of the band Quintessence at some point.
