Yoko Nagayama is a Japanese female singer, Tsugaru-jamisen player, and actress, born on January 13, 1968, in Tokyo. She made her debut as an idol pop singer in 1984 and transitioned to enka music in 1993. As a child, she was a member of the ビクター少年民謡会, a group dedicated to Victor Records, which has a long history and consists of boys and girls with flexible membership. She participated in recordings such as "ホームラン音頭" and "ヤットデタマンブギウギ音頭" during her time with the group. On April 6, 2009, she married American businessman Mark Smith, who resides in Japan.
