Yolanda Johnson is a recording artist and the head of her independent label, Meta Music Recordings. She has released two extended plays: "Sweet Yesterday" in 2002 and "Violet Flower" in 2006. Her single "Individual" served as the theme song for BETJ's Soul Sessions. In September 2009, she released her first album, "Breathing," which included the single "Strut!" Additionally, she has released several other singles, including “Ties” in 2014 and “Wrapped” in 2017.
