Yoshiaki Ochi is a Japanese ambient musician, composer, keyboardist, and percussionist, born in 1955. He is known for his unique approach to music, frequently incorporating natural sounds by using water, wood, or stone as instruments. Ochi has collaborated with his brother, Yoshihisa Ochi, and has performed alongside American microtonal bassoonist Johnny Reinhard. He is a member of the Japan Composer's Association (JACOMPA) and has recorded several CDs.
