The Younghearts, originally formed as Younghearts in 1967 in Los Angeles, California, were a prominent soul group on the US West Coast. They achieved early success with their debut single “A Little Togetherness,” released in January 1967 on Canterbury, which reached the top 10 of the US R&B Charts and became a Northern Soul Scene Classic. Following this, they signed with Minit and released their debut album, Sweet Soul Shakin’, in 1968, known for its high-quality harmony soul and distinctive falsetto style. Over the years, the group's lineup changed, and they briefly operated as The New Younghearts in 1970, during which they released the sought-after single “Young Hearts Get Lonely Too.” In 1973, they signed with 20th Century Fox and transitioned from a quartet to a trio, resulting in the classic track “Do You Have The Time.” This was followed by their 1974 album, A Taste of..., which included popular songs like “You’re Not Here With Me” and “We’re All God’s Children.” Their final album, All About Love, was released in 1977 on ABC. The Younghearts toured extensively across the US, sharing the stage with notable acts such as The Temptations, The Dells, The Delfonics, The Moments, The Whispers, The Miracles, The Supremes, Barry White, Stevie Wonder, Gladys Knight, and even The Rolling
