YS was a French folk-rock super-group that released a single album before changing their name. The band consisted of Michel Santangeli, Pascal Stive, and René Werneer, who had previously played together in another band. The names Ys and Keris refer to a mythical submerged city off the coast of Brittany in Celtic legend.
