Yvonne Elliman is a pop and soul singer born on December 29, 1951, in Hawaii. She gained prominence for her role as Mary Magdalene in the original London production of "Jesus Christ Superstar." Afterward, she became a part of a live band before embarking on a solo career. Her biggest hit, "If I Can't Have You," was featured on the "Saturday Night Fever" soundtrack and reached No. 1 on the US chart. Yvonne was married from 1972 to 1980.
