Yvonne Fair was an American soul singer born in Virginia on October 21, 1942. She is perhaps best remembered for her chart hit "It Should Have Been Me," which came from her lone Motown album released in 1975. In the early 1960s, she gained fame by touring with the James Brown revue. Yvonne Fair was married to a man who started out as a member of Little Anthony & The Imperials. She passed away on March 6, 1994, in Las Vegas, Nevada.
