Zeena Parkins (b. 1956) is an American harpist from Detroit, Michigan, known for her work in rock music, free improvisation, and jazz. She studied at Bard College and relocated to New York City in 1984. Parkins plays both standard harps and several custom-made electric harps, in addition to piano and accordion. Her artistic practice incorporates a variety of elements, including Foley, field recordings, analog synthesizers, samplers, oscillators, and homemade instruments.
