Zella Jackson Price (born c. 1940) is an American gospel singer with a career spanning over 50 years. She gained national recognition for her performances, including a notable show at Carnegie Hall in 1985. A pioneer among black announcers in St. Louis radio, she has also been featured in a documentary about her life produced by Chicago TV channel 28. In addition to her singing career, she appeared in several films, including the documentary "Say Amen, Somebody" (1982), which chronicles the life of Willie Mae Ford Smith, as well as the HBO mini-series "Angels in America."
