Zion De Gallier, originally known as Douglas Robert Ord, was the lead singer of a Colchester band called The Deepbeats and also performed as Dane Stephens in The Fairies. He gained recognition when he was signed by pop-production expert Mark Wirtz and became involved in Wirtz's ambitious project, 'Teenage Opera.'
