Ziúr is an innovative artist known for her relentless experimentation across various music genres, including hardcore, metal, punk, and electronic music. Since her teenage years, she has subverted expectations and crafted a unique sonic narrative that helps listeners navigate the complexities of contemporary culture. Pitchfork recognized her as "a master storyteller" in 2019. Her musical journey took a significant turn in 2015 when she met Peaches while teaching at a girls rock camp, leading to a tour and a remix opportunity. As an early member of the Discwoman roster, Ziúr released two EPs before presenting her acclaimed full-length album 'U Feel Anything?' in 2017 on Planet Mu, which showcased her distinctive sound through collaborations with Aïsha Devi and Zhala. She followed this with the bold record 'ATØ' in 2019, featuring Ash B and Samantha Urbani. In 2021, Ziúr expanded her artistic vision with 'Antifate', incorporating medieval imagery and diverse instrumentation, and collaborated with James Ginzburg on 'Myxomy'. Her 2023 album 'Eyeroll', released on Uganda's Hakuna Kulala label, further explored her musical range, blending her punk roots with innovative abstraction and featuring contributions from various artists.
