Znowhite is a speed/thrash metal band hailing from Chicago, Illinois, formed in 1982 originally under the name Snowhite. The band underwent a name change to Znöwhite in 1983 and finally settled on Znowhite in 1986. The group disbanded in 1989 after vocalist Debbie Gunn left to return to her former band. The last known lineup included Greg Fulton on vocals, who also played in Shooting Hemlock and Cyclone Temple, and a guitarist who was part of Cyclone Temple. The drumming duties were handled by members associated with Rebels Without Applause and Cyclone Temple. Former members included Debbie Gunderson, who sang from 1981 to 1988 and later joined Brutal Groove, as well as various bassists and drummers throughout the band's history. Notably, the band featured Nickie Tafoya and Amp Dawg on bass, and had several drummers over the years. The band is remembered for its contributions to the metal scene during the 1980s.
