Zolar X is an American band that was founded in 1973 and is recognized as "Los Angeles' first glam rock band," as noted in the 1998 book Glam by Barney Hoskyns. The band gained popularity on the LA club scene for their unique style, dressing and performing as space aliens, and even creating their own invented language. The current lineup includes Stephen Della Bosca (also known as Ygarr Ygarrist), Billy Myers (also known as Zory Zenith and Billy McCartney), Raidia Visual-X, Jeff Porter (also known as Jett Starsystems), and a member with the name Pattern Timest, whose details are to be announced. Previous members of Zolar X include Craig Rinehart (also known as Eon Flash), Bruce Allen Courtios (also known as Zany Zatovian, who was with the band from 1973 to 1975), Ed Dorn (1973-1974), Tom Lee (also known as Ufoian Ufar, 1976-1980), Ron Eiseman (also known as Romm Eclipse, 1976-1977), Scott Noel (also known as Qazar Quantor, 2007), and Rick Swanson (also known as Moto Bass Unit, 2009-2011).
