Zoviet France is a music group hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne in northeast England. Known for their experimental sound, their music often features dissonant elements and industrial textures, placing them within the atmospheric genre. The group was formed in 1980 and has seen various members throughout the years, including Lisa Hale (1980-1981), Robin Storey (1980-1992), Peter Jensen (1980-1984), Ben Ponton (1980-present), Paolo di Paolo (1984-1986), Mark Spybey (1987-1989), Andy Eardley (1990-1995), and Mark Warren (1995-present).
