Art Yard Ltd and Art Yard Music Publishing was first established in 2004 - Prior to that, Peter Dennett was working in record shops in London, doing pirate radio in the Netherlands and working as a music researcher for tv commercials, plus DJing at the ICA in London and doing audio restoration work and mastering for record labels. Peter is an audio-visual technician and producer composer, who designs silk screen prints and record covers. Peter has been working with Strut /K7 putting together album projects since 2015 and as a publisher Art Yard represents Salah Ragab and The Cairo Jazz Band and Al Chem ‘Berlin’ among other artists. He worked in Detroit where he built the Detroit Artists Workshop album project in collaboration with Charles H. Wright Museum of African American History and he was based in Berlin Germany for fifteen years as a studio live- mixer technician and he would contribute music to poetry performances and tv drama programs and documentaries. Art Yard also publishes books.
