For over 20 years, Dream Chimney has been a unique music platform that connects music lovers worldwide. Originally an electronic music project for late-night college radio, it evolved into a collaborative website known for its passionate community. Dream Chimney members share their daily favorite tracks across all genres, often inventing their own. From Balearic incantations and new-age hymns to AOR ballads and country-funk oddities, there's always something new and unexpected every day. Dream Chimney has expanded beyond its website, hosting weekly exclusive guest mixes, daily world premieres, artist interviews, and curated playlists. Taking it further, the Dream Chimney label was born, focusing on lo-fi balearic, new age, dance, and synth-pop, including full-length and compilations including some of favorite producers such as A Vision of Panorama, Max Essa, Trujillo, as well as Dream Chimney members Sorcerer, Hatchback, Rollmottle, Faint Waves and more. Behind-the-scenes, owner/producer Ryan Bishop has recorded music as part of the duo Broker/Dealer (Traum, Asphodel) and solo as the Beat Broker (Bear Funk, Ghost Town, Flexx, Sentrall). When not busy working on Dream Chimney web and label affairs, he has produced remixes and edits for Universal Cave, American Standard, Eclectics, and the self-released Sentimental Memories EP. As the label's new in-house remixer, we hope to hear more dubs whenever there's a need for the Dream Chimney touch.
