Originally from New Orleans, LA - Maddie Ruthless is a Brooklyn-based selector with a deep vinyl collection spanning all eras. Maddie’s collection highlights the sounds of lovers rock, rub a dub, and classic reggae. Across NYC and beyond, you can find her selecting classic tunes in late-night sound system sessions. Her focus is on the foundation sound of Jamaica across the 60s, 70s, & 80s - bleeding together dancehall magic across decades. When she’s not selecting, Maddie can be found performing as the lead singer of The Far East - a lovers rock/rub a dub live band based in Brooklyn, New York.
