Augenblick Press is an independent publishing house and vernacular photography archive dedicated to salvaging fragments of collective memory and cultural detritus. Founded by Samuel Kilcoyne — an artist, musician, and long-time collector from South London — the project is driven by a deep impulse to preserve the overlooked, the ephemeral, and the accidental. What began as a publishing platform for found photography and marginal histories has grown into a broader exploration of memory across mediums. The Augenblick Press Show is its sonic counterpart: a loose, atmospheric journey through music collected on long trips, secondhand hauls, and obscure frequencies. Less about genre than it is about mood, memory, and the invisible links between image and sound; the show has previously aired on NTS and Netil Radio and now broadcasts via ROVR. Since 2006, Kilcoyne has been active in underground music scenes as both a promoter and performer, playing synthesizer in the Frans Zwartjes Soundsystem, S.C.U.M, and Patent Saints. Through Augenblick Press, he continues to blur the lines between archive, soundscape, and storytelling.
